0400 MAN Fire Damper
0400 MAN fire damper has been designed to stop the spread of fire through ventilation ducts passing through walls. It will close when reaching a temperature of 72ºC and then remain closed to prevent the spread of fire while maintaining the integrity of the wall. The 0400 series is used in commercial, residential, and healthcare, complying with the harmonised standard BS EN 13501 with UKCA and European CE certification.
The 0400 MAN fire damper has been designed to be installed in reduced space, and is activated with a mechanical fuse thread that melts upon reaching 72ºC releasing the spring-loaded blade closed. The damper is resettable from the outside, which makes it easy to reset. The damper can be held fully open or partially open for volume control.
The minimum damper size is Ø100mm up to a maximum of Ø310mm. The damper has been tested to BS EN 1366-2 in both directions as required in the harmonised standard BS EN 15650 and has a classification for two hours as BS EN 13501-3. The damper has a fixing frame for wall mounting in drywall or blockwork.
