Scheme

Contracts were awarded by Borough Engineering Services Ltd and Briggs & Forrester Living Limited over two schemes and tasked Advanced Air with providing high-end diffusers tailored to emulate the sophisticated ambiance of the luxury apartments and circulation spaces.

Customers

Both companies are a specialist providers of building services solutions in large scale residential schemes, and were entrusted with the task of procuring and installing diffuser products for the Broadway redevelopment project. Their expertise in delivering high-quality HVAC solutions made them a preferred partner for this prestigious project. Advanced Air UK were chosen due to their air distribution expertise to work with them and provide specification and ultimately manufactured units to complement the scheme.

Diffuser Selection

The luxurious aesthetics and sophisticated design of the apartments and circulation spaces, demanded that a range of high-end diffuser products was required. These included:

• FlowLine Slot Diffuser: This product offers sleek and minimalistic design, providing efficient air distribution while seamlessly blending into the contemporary interiors of the luxury apartments.
• FlowLine Vertical Slot Diffuser: designed to deliver air in a smooth and uniform manner, the vertical bladeless slot diffuser adds a touch of elegance to the circulation spaces, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.

These diffuser products were carefully selected to meet the specific requirements of the Broadway redevelopment project, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal to complement the luxury living experience. Between the two product ranges Advanced Air UK manufactured and supplied in excess of 4,000m of product.

Solution

The diffuser units and associated plenums where required had to be carefully considered against not only the requirements of the MEP specification but also ensuring that units were sized correctly to fit within the Architectural design of the apartments and core areas. This took considerable time in coordinating the design information and concluded with Borough Engineering Services Ltd and Briggs & Forrester Living Limited receiving units that were fit for purpose first time.

The design of our side wall diffusers makes installation far easier and there is no need for site measuring live and dummy sections, plus with the thin frame system no clashes with wall supports.

By collaborating with Borough Engineering Services Ltd and Briggs & Forrester Living Limited and selecting high-end diffuser products, Advanced Air UK assisted the Broadway redevelopment project in Westminster to successfully achieve its goal of creating luxurious and comfortable living spaces.
